For wall painting, go for colors that are bright. The age-old therapy of using blue for boys and pink for girls still works. So, if you lack a creative blend of mind, go for applying this therapy without a doubt. Other colors that work wonders in kids‘ room are rust, sea green, indigo, combination of white and blue, etc. As for room ceiling, if you can afford a false ceiling or a POP, nothing like it. Try realistic imagery on the ceiling, such as sky with stars, the solar system, some "Cinderella" or "Aladdin" fairy tale scene. This will help your kid to enjoy his/her time in the room and give you some free space to talk and spend time with your spouse.
Add a second closet bar at a lower lever. This second bar can be used to hang additional clothing and can help make it easier for the kids to help put away clothes. Purchase lots of small, sturdy hangers designed to hold children clothes. Pick up any dirty laundry that may be lying around the room. A great way to encourage kids to put their dirty laundry away is placing a basketball hoop over the laundry basket. This way your kids will see putting away the laundry as a fun thing to do.
