Traditionally, our bedrooms were a room for relaxation and recuperation, a place in which serenity and calmness would wash away the excitement of the day. Today’s lifestyle means that we are getting less sleep than we ever used to, stress and anxiety are on the increase and as a result our health is deteriorating with avoidable high blood pressure and heart disease on the up. Feng Shui can be used to balance our bedrooms into an area in which stress is combated and the importance of sleep is realised. By adopting the rules of feng shui to choosing our bed linen it can become a physical and spiritual barrier against anxiety and introduce peace into our lives. By using the colour theories of feng shui in our bedroom, we can achieve spiritual balance, well being and good fortune.
Modern man is so busy in his working hours that even eat up his sleeping hours. Good health requires eight hours of sleep. Edgar Watson Howe has this to say: "The feeling of sleepiness when you are not in bed, and can’t get there, is the meanest feeling in the world." The best bridge between despair and hope is a good night sleep. Narrow down the gap and try to find time to sleep. All you need is a comfortable mattress with fresh, soft, and fluffy down comforter cover to keep off from tossing and popping out of bed.
