Natural fibers include silk, cotton, wool or flax. All these materials have intrinsic irregularities and are responsive to humidity and temperature changes due to their porosity and absorbency. This makes natural materials very comfortable. Rayon and viscose are some of the artificial fibers used to make beddings such as kids bedding, girls bedding and bed in a bag. Linen made from artificial fibers is generally durable. They come with certain antibacterial properties and can be dyed to vibrant colors.
The most prominent feature of the contemporary bed linen is that it can be cleaned using the washing machine. The more delicate and stylized bed linens require the more expensive dry cleaning option. It would be nice to have these designer beds for special occasions, but for everyday use, it is more practical to keep it with the contemporary bed.
