LEADERS SHARPENING LEADERS! Had a blast presenting to the Vistage Worldwide, Inc. CEO Summit in Miami this week. I was invited as the showcase speaker to discuss the Levers for Leadership and the power of Behavioral Integrity for executives. Huge props to Kelly Scott (Chairman/CEO of Vistage Florida), Angie Neal, Sherri Pedoulas, Marcelo Lemos, Mike Kady, Sydney Foran, Jeffrey Salamon, and Jay Feldman for creating a place where executives can learn, challenge, connect and grow.

Great insights about organizations that are/are not "in integrity" with their values -- in leadership, systems, and structures.

Only 62 living Medal of Honor recipients remain. Today we mourn the passing, and celebrate the life & legacy of Ralph Puckett -- the last Medal recipient from the Korean War. Outnumbered 10-1, wounded in the first of 6 attacks, he fought on and led the way (as Rangers do) to inspire others through conspicuous courage. Godspeed, LT Puckett! Click the link to read his amazing story of valor!

Recently, I've been talking to a lot of leaders about how we often grow the most through the biggest storms of life. I stumbled across this video lesson from a while back, that I think still applies today. As a leader and parent, I too often want to "helicopter in" and "protect" people from the storms of life--the very struggles that will allow them to become the bigger version of themselves. As the Stoics remind us, so often, "The obstacle is the way."https://lnkd.in/eKC2r7XS

The grand opening of the National Medal of Honor Museum is just over 1 year away! This iconic structure will not only enshrine and celebrate the stories of the Medal of Honor recipients, but it will also elevate and advance the enduring VALUES embodied in the Medal. These values -- Integrity, Courage, Commitment, Sacrifice, Citizenship, and Patriotism -- are desperately needed today, and can serve to unify our nation. Join the mission!
